Designing high-performance sports facilities in an urban environment.
In the heart of São Paulo, on a 70,000 sqm degraded but well-located site, the State Government approached us to propose the first high-performance sports training centre in the State. The programme consisted of multisport courts, an indoor running track and halls across a 6-storey building, alongside a restaurant, a museum, an administrative and convention centre, a football pitch, a first-class outdoor running track, an official grass hockey pitch and full facilities for young professional athletes.
