CBF Academy

More than 10,000 students have graduated across one of the current 50 courses offered by the CBF Academy since 2009, spanning football, futsal and beach soccer. The School of Management and Business offers courses in administration, football management, business, esports, technology and innovation.

We were selected by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) to develop the masterplan and accommodate the new Academy facilities close to CBF headquarters in Rio de Janeiro. The programme included 2 official football pitches, a covered beach soccer and futsal court, administrative buildings for courses and licensing programmes, a conference hall, and changing, technical and medical facilities. The complex sits on land adjacent to a lagoon, with a running track set within an ecological park of more than 4 hectares of preserved forest. The design follows contemporary architectural lines and aims to achieve LEED certification, meeting the highest international football academic standards.
