The first real indoor arena project for South America.
We led a group composed of BF Capital, Moyses & Pires and Lagardère, authorized by the Municipality of São Paulo to propose the best solution for the first indoor arena in South America, adjacent to Anhembi Exhibition Hall and the São Paulo Sambodrome.
The project featured an extraordinary U-shaped bowl for a 20,000-capacity multipurpose indoor arena, anchored by commercial retail spaces and an 850-space parking garage. The arena is fully flexible, with a large floor area suitable for concerts and a variety of sports. It also includes 1,700 sqm of restaurants, 4,000 sqm of business lounges, 40 corporate boxes, an overall built area of nearly 100,000 sqm and a 6.6 MVA energy load.
The arena benefits from a privileged location adjacent to São Paulo's main expressway, between the city centre and the airport. The venue also features an alternate outdoor space that can be used for open-air concerts and performances without affecting the adjacent Sambodrome, serving as a buffer area during Carnival parades.
